Essential oils are concentrated essences distilled or cold pressed from flowers, fruits, roots, bark, leaves, and herbs. These oils are liquid, volatile substances that have several possibilities of use.

Recently, essential oils have experienced a resurgence in aromatherapy and cosmetics.

Animal Feed

There is a substantial increase in the use of essential oils as feed additives in animal nutrition for their role as antibacterial, antioxidant and other effects. They have been successfully used as a dietary antibiotic replacer without residues. Food Base offers a variety of GMP+ certified oils for the feed industry.

  • Eucalyptus oil - 1,8-cineol
  • Peppermint oil - Menthol

  • Onion oil- Sulfur compounds
